Christmas Tag!

Bonjour beautiful people.
HO HO HO! It's nearly Christmas! I am so excited, oh my gosh! Just a little reminder, if you are stuck for Christmas wrapping ideas, check out my Vintage Christmas Wrapping. So, I am currently wrapped up in bed, with some tea, listening to Michael BublĂ© as I have the winter cold…woo. Fun. On a brighter note, it has given me the perfect chance to do a post! I was a little stuck for an idea, until my good buddy mentioned the Christmas Tag. Thank you Lou! Anyway, shall we start?

Favourite Christmas movie?

ELF! By far! If you don't have it on DVD, why not?! And please do get it! It is amazing. Actually, I might watch it later on today!

Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?

Umm, I hope I am on the Nice list, please Santa!

Have you ever had a White Christmas?

Yes, a couple of years ago I think, it made the whole day even more magical.

Where do you usually spend your holiday?

At home, with my Mum and Dad.

Play your favourite Christmas song!

Beware, I am addicted to Mr. BublĂ© at the moment…

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

No way, I like to save all the excitement for the morning!

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

Um, I'm not too good at this…but here goes anyway! Rudolf, Dixon, Blitzen? *types the question into Google*…Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid and Donder

What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?

Hmm, I love the whole day and everything about it, but probably the present opening!

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Unfortunately, we have a fake one, as I have 2 dogs and the needles that come off the tree would get stuck to them!

Hands down, what's your all-time favorite holiday food and holiday sweet treat?

Oooh, I really love the whole Christmas dinner and I love gingerbread men because I enjoy decorating them too!

Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I am serious here, I love choosing, wrapping and seeing the persons face when I give. I think the feeling that you have made someone happy is the best. However, opening up presents and ripping the paper off is so fun too!

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

Me and my parents have thought about going away for Christmas many a time, but I really do love just staying at home.

Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make?

Um, no, not real :(

Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

I love wrapping so much! I love to make them look really festive and pretty, so I would say I'm a pro!

Most memorable Holiday moment?

A couple of years ago when I had a white Christmas, I can remember looking out the window and having that rush, it was lovely.

What made you realise the truth about Santa?

What do you mean? ;)

Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I don't really make New Year Resolutions, because I never stick to them!

What makes the Holidays special for you?

I think the whole shebang really, the wrapping, the lead up to it, the gingerbread men! The excitement of opening your first present!

I hope this post has been enjoyable for you to read! Ooh, before I forget, I just wanted to give a shout out to +Sara O, I have recently been checking out her blog and it is so lovely. So Please go check it out and say I sent you!

Vintage Christmas Wrapping

Bonjour beautiful people.
I have really been feeling the Christmas spirit lately! (Even though it's not even December yet!) Anyways, I have been extremely prepared already and have started wrapping. This year, I really wanted to make an effort with my wrapping to make it that even more special. I started researching different ways to wrap and was getting know where…until, I had that light bulb moment whilst watching TV. All the Christmas adverts started appearing and all the presents looked amazing with the all the pretty ribbons and authentic brown paper. I thought that would so simple, but at the same time, look gorgeous under the tree. Using brown paper and varied ribbons, it actually turned out a lot cheaper, than it would be buying high quality wrapping paper.

As you can see, using brown paper and then a contrast of pretty ribbons really do add that sparkle!

These are all the ribbons I have collected or purchased for this Christmas, most of them I ordered on Amazon.

I also thought of adding a brown tag would give it that extra vintage touch. What I am going to do is, buy some gold and silver pens to write with on the tags. I have also ordered a 'Do Not Open Until 25th December' Rubber stamp to, obviously, stamp all the presents!

Okey doke, I just thought that would give you some nice ideas for your Christmas wrapping, if you are a bit stumped!

Winter Essentials

Hello beautiful people.
As the snug weather is coming in, I thought I would prepare you, to brace the chilly weather! Here are some essentials I think you may need to go stock up on for the future months.

No. 1
A warm, thick. soft scarf is an absolute essential for this frosty season! You could either go for a high end Burberry scarf, as above, or go for a (just as nice!) Primark one…I think you can all guess which one I went for! The reason I went for the cheap and cheerful option is, I was depress for a scarf, to be honest! I love this pattern at the minute, the Burberry style. The one I got from Primark is a cream version with Brown, Pink and Blue stripes. Next up…

No. 2
No one can go through the winter without a jumper! I love this jumper so much, I purchased this from Topshop, about a month ago, and don't regret it one bit! The outside is fluffy so it feels like you are wrapped up in a blanket! I am looking forward to those evenings nearer to Christmas were, I have my Teddy Bear jumper on, snuggled up on the sofa, with a hot chocolate and watching a Christmas film!

No. 3

Every winter, if I'm out shopping or in a restaurant etc, I always smell a rich, musky or spicy perfume. The one above is Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir, this is a spicy, Christmas smell which looks and smells so sophisticated and elegant. It is a distinctive cologne, so you will stand out for a mile when wearing this!

No. 4

A nice cosy pair of slippers never fail! There is nothing like coming in from a busy day and putting on your wooly slippers. An alternative to slippers, are a slipper socks. These are normally, fluffy and very much sock like! You can get them from Primark, (as I have done many a time!) and they do so many different patterned ones.

No. 5
For this time of year, I suggest getting a trust worthy, Berry lipstick. For whatever occasion, dining out, everyday make up, you can wear this and match it with so many things. I love this colour from Topshop and whenever I see a colour like this, I just think of Winter. This colour is called The Damned and I would fully recommend going to grab it before you regret not stocking up on it!

So there were just some essential pieces I don't think I could go through Winter without. Please Follow my Blog, Lulabell. Go click the button in the side bar so you can be apart of my Blogging adventure! Also comment down below and tell me what you love wearing in Winter.

Lulabell is loving...

Lush

Hello beautiful people.
Lush. Well, what fashion, beauty or natural goddess doesn't love Lush?! It seems like lately, my bathroom is filled with all the products from there! Bath Bombs, Bubble Bars, Massage Bars…the list goes on. But here are a phew products which I can't get enough of.

Candy Mountain - £2.65

As the chilly winter is coming in, and you feel like having a sweet, delectable, delicious bath, you need this. One of my favourite products from Lush, of all time, is Snow Fairy. As Snow Fairy only comes out near Christmas, I try and lap up any products that even smell remotely like it. I know some people hate Snow Fairy, but then some love it…like Marmite! haha. This is a Bubble Bar, so you have to crumble it under the tap, just like shortbread?! (Gosh I'm full of bad jokes today and yes, that was a joke!) When you snap this in half and reveal the core, you get overwhelmed by the amazing smell and the pretty pattern inside. It has 4 different shades of pink, slightly shown on the outside…I was trying to figure out how they did it, but didn't get very far in my brainstorm! (Comment below and tell me if you figured it out!) So I would definitely recommend this for the next time you step in the gorgeous Lush.

So White - £3.25

Lush have achieved Christmas in a Bath Bomb. I have yet to use this from my Lush Haul, (I am looking forward too!) But I have heard when you crack it open you get a lovely surprise. I little present from Lush inside! I know this is actually quite pricey for a Bath Bomb, but it is huge! You could easily use half in one bath, not even that. It smells devine! One of it's main scents is Bergamot. That is basically a citrus oil, used in Earl Grey tea! (Fact of the day). But apart from that, when I first smelt it, I instantly thought apples! I don't even know if it is supposed to smell like apples, it just did to me! That got me hooked instantly. So if you are an apple or Bergamot lover, go bag yourself a So White from Lush.

Soft Coeur - £4.75

Oh my golly gosh! I love this so much! Guess what? It has chocolate in it! I have used this product many a time, but I have only recently noticed how much I actually love it! It had been sitting next to my bath for a while, extremely lonely, as I had actually forgotten I had it! This is a massage bar, so after a bath (or any time you like), you lather this chocolatey, melty, loveliness on, and as soon as you know it, you are as soft as a babies bottom! I love using it after a bath, as it seems to melt into my skin better. And apparently, if you put it on after a bath, the smell stays on for longer! I am a chocaholic, so I just simply had to have it! It is a bit pricey, but you know, you have to indulge sometimes!

Well I think that wraps up the 3 main things I am loving from Lush at the moment. I'm sure there will be many more in the future. Please comment down below with Post suggestions, things you are loving from Lush (I will try them out if so!) and just general loveliness.
